EDUCATION & ARTISTIC FOUNDATION
I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Creative Arts program at Yorkville University in Toronto,
a field of study designed to prepare artists for creative leadership roles within the arts and cultural industries.
The program extended beyond academic training, focusing on the development of an interdisciplinary perspective,
the ability to lead artistic projects, professional collaboration,
and the transformation of creative ideas into meaningful performance and production.
This experience deepened my prior work in acting and directing,
and expanded my awareness of the creative process, the social responsibility of art,
and the role of the artist within the contemporary world.
The Bachelor of Creative Arts program at Yorkville University is designed to support artists who seek to move beyond practice alone and step into creative leadership.
The curriculum emphasizes project-based learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a critical understanding of the social and cultural contexts in which art is created.
Throughout the program, I engaged with the creative process not only as a performer, but also as a decision-maker and collaborator—learning how ideas evolve into structured artistic projects.
The experience strengthened my ability to lead creative teams, communicate artistic vision, and navigate the responsibilities that come with artistic production.
This period of study did not replace my existing professional background; rather, it deepened and reframed it.
It offered clarity, structure, and a broader perspective that continues to inform my work as an actor, director, and founder of independent artistic initiatives.
